Ch4knu shut down in Game Three as Execration bows out of ONE Esports: MPLI

Ronin Esports shuts down Ch4knu late in Game Three as Execration bowed out of the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational via a 2-1 decision, Friday evening.

Execration played aggressively in the early game, taking the lead in the opening minutes of the game all thanks to Ch4knu’s Chou and Mark’s Lancelot. However, with Silent (Hayabusa) focusing on objectives, it did not take too long for Ronin Esports to take over the match.

Entering the eight-minute mark of the match, JustiN (Vale) was able to catch E2MAX’s Pharsa to kick-start Ronin’s gain of control. Naomi (Akai) then pinned down Ch4knu with his Hurricane Dance for Silent to secure the kill while Peka (Yi Sun Shin) turned his attention to Kelraaa (Benedetta).

The three-man wipe tipped the scales heavily to Ronin Esports’ side.

It was a tough stand for the MPL-Philippines Season Six third placers with Ch4knu, E2MAX, and S4gitnu (X.borg) extending the match to over 24 minutes. However, the massive amount of damage coming from Peka and JustiN proved to be too much for Execration to handle.

Silent clinched the MVP award with eight kills, a death, and three assists while Peka finished with four kills, two deaths, and seven assists. JustiN, meanwhile, had five kills, five deaths, and seven assists all while dealing a total of 104,519 total damage.

On the other hand, Mark had an outstanding debut for Execration. He had a clean 6-0-3 KDA to go along with a total net worth of 17,024. S4gitnu added four kills, three deaths, and three assists while Ch4knu was held to zero kills, five deaths, and seven assists.

Execration actually had a dominant Game One, moving a game away from advancing to the next round. However, a strong Game Two from the MPL-Myanmar grand finalist paved the way for the reverse sweep.

Ronin Esports will face the winner between Orange Louvre and EVOS Singapore.
