Another double-digit performance by Bagunas ends up in Oita loss

Bryan Bagunas continues to be the rock for Oita Miyoshi amid its nonstop downfall.

Weisse Adler absorbed a 20-25, 23-25, 18-25 drubbing from league-leading Wolfdogs Nagoya in the 2020-21 Japan V.League Division 1 Men’s Tournament, Saturday at the Toyoda Gosei Memorial Gymnasium in Aichi, Japan.

The 6-foot-5 outside spiker produced yet another double-digit performance in scoring with 12 points, all from attacks.

Fellow import Curtis Stockton delivered 17 markers on his own, but failed to prevent Oita Miyoshi from sliding to 0-11.

Kenta Takanahashi and Ryosuke Tsubakiyama led the charge for Nagoya with 15 points apiece.

Wolfdogs are tied with Suntory Sunbirds at the top of the leaderboard behind an identical 9-2 win-loss card.

Oita Miyoshi will try again to pull an upset against Nagoya tomorrow, 11 am, at the same venue.
