BREN Epro repeats over Smart Omega in The Nationals ML

BREN Epro reclaimed second place after a 2-0 sweep of the top-ranked Smart Omega in The Nationals Season Two Mobile Legends: Bang Bang conference, Wednesday.

The reigning MPL-Philippines champion has a 12-8 standing for 15 points — four points behind the league-leading Omega, who currently has 19 points through a 13-4 slate.

KarlTzy once again stole the show for BREN Epro, winning the MVP award in Games One and Two.

The 16-year-old core put up a clean 6-0-5 kill-death-assist playing Brody in Game One. He then followed it up with six kills, two deaths, and five assists in Game Two using his signature Lancelot.

Omega tried to mix things up in the opener, putting KurTzy in the core position with Helcurt while Hadjizy slid to the support role with Harith.

BREN Epro was able to capitalize on the situation, pouncing on Omega every chance they got to close out the game in under 13 minutes.

The Smart-backed squad went back to their old ways in Game Two with KurTzy and Hadjizy going back to their original positions. However, BREN still managed to dominate all thanks to the troika of Ribo (Brody), FlapTzy (Esmeralda), and KarlTzy (Lancelot).

On the other hand, Laus Auto Group Playbook Esports dispatched Happy Feet via a 2-1 decision earlier in the day.

The Nationals four-time Tekken 7 champion AK finally made his debut after suiting up for the Eagles in Game One. Unfortunately, the Emperors were able to snag a come-from-behind win to take the opener.

Aspect subbed in for AK in the following game, leading Playbook to a reverse sweep of the Team Payaman-backed squad.

Playbook (9-8) has tied the STI E-Olympians (9-7) at the third seed with 12 points each.

Meanwhile, Happy Feet remained dead-last in the six-team field with a 1-10 win-loss card.
