F2 Logistics completes PVL cast

F2 Logistics has answered the call of the volleyball community.

The five-time Philippine Superliga champions have decided to turn pro, joining the Premier Volleyball League for the upcoming 2021 Open Conference and beyond.

The Cargo Movers made the announcement through their social media accounts, Thursday afternoon.

“To our supporters who we definitely consider as part of the team, thank you for rallying with us and we feel blessed to have you by our side. We would not be here without you,” read the team’s statement.

“It is also because of you that we announce that Premier Volleyball League will be the arena that we will continuously hone our skills and characters.”

The Cargo Movers are grateful for their five years in the PSL. Through the league, they were not just able to compete on the domestic level, but were also able to represent the country in the 2016 FIVB Club Championships and the 2018 Women’s Volleyball Kor Royal Cup.

F2 Logistics was the last team to move from the PSL to the PVL. PLDT and Cignal were the first to leave, followed by Chery Tiggo and Sta. Lucia.

F2 Logistics leaves the PSL on top as it is tied with defunct franchise Petron in the championship ladder with five.

The Cargo Movers will carry their battle-tested team led by Aby Maraño, Kalei Mau, Ara Galang, Dawn Macandili, Majoy Baron, Kim Dy, Kim Fajardo, Des Cheng, among others.

F2 Logistics will be the 12th and the final team set to compete in the PVL bubble beginning on May 8 at Inspire Sports Academy.

“We look forward to battling against old and new opponents who will never be enemies.”
