Blacklist snaps Work Auster’s streak in MPL PH


Blacklist International survived a tough stand from Work Auster Force, taking a 2-1 victory in the battle of the group leaders in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Sunday afternoon. 

This is Blacklist’s fifth-straight victory as they solidify their hold of the top spot in Group B with 13 points through an immaculate 5-0 record.

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Alice punctuated the series victory, putting up five kills and four assists against just two deaths in Blacklist International’s 12-7 Game Three victory.

Blacklist International’s healing strategy worked wonders in Game One as Work Auster Force had no answer to Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s Estes and Mark “ESON” Gerardo’s Rafaela.

Blacklist ended the 11-2 Game One win in just 13 minutes and 34 seconds.

The team tried to emulate the same strategy to close out the series, but Work Auster Force managed to solve the healing puzzle to even the series at 1-all.

Unravel, who recorded a game-high 17 assists with his Mathilda, nabbed the Smart MVP award in the 20-8 Game Two victory. Work will remain at the pole position in Group A with a 3-2 record with 10 points.

Blacklist International looks to extend their unbeaten streak on Thursday at 6:00 pm while Work Auster Force will try to bounce back against defending champion BREN Esports on the same day at 7:30 pm.
