Blacklist in awe of KarlTzy’s epic Lancelot performance

Bren Esports’ jungle Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno stood in the way of Blacklist International’s attempted sweep in their best-of-five upper bracket series, Thursday night.

With the Tier One-backed squad’s all set with their brooms in Game Three, the 17-year-old wunderkind out of Laguna put up one of the best Lancelot performances in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League history to save Bren Esports from the loss.

The M2 World Championship Most Valuable Player punctured his way in Game Three, leading Bren Esports’ 19-2 decimation of Blacklist International in just 15 minutes and two seconds. He scored eight kills and three assists without a single death in the win.

“You saw the Game Three with his Lancelot? He’s very fast,” quipped Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

Bren Esports built on that momentum, showing off another world-caliber performance in Game Four to reset the series and send the match-up to a winner-take-all Game Five only to lose in dominant fashion.

After the match, the Blacklist International contingent led by Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna, along with Wise, Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, and Mark “ESON” Gerardo quickly acknowledged KarlTzy’s out of this world Lancelot performance in their post-match press conference.

“But in Game Five we changed our mindset that’s why we won against the superhero Lancelot,” said , whose Yi Sun-Shin edged KarlTzy’s Lancelot in the all-important Game Five to hand Blacklist the huge 3-2 victory.

“As we all know, Bren is the world champion so [their performances] in Game Three and Game Four are really expected from them since their mental fortitude is really over the roof,” added OhMyV33NUS.

They just showed their championship quality and championship mentally to never give up.”

Blacklist International is set to face off against Aura PH in the upper bracket finals on Saturday while Bren Esports will go down the lower bracket against Work Auster Force on Friday.
