Duckeyyy denies KarlTzy trade to NXP rumors

Bren Esports coach Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro denied the trade rumors centering on M2 World Champion Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Monday afternoon.

There has been a fake article making rounds on the internet stating that Nexplay Esports coach Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio has offered John Paul “H2wo” Salonga and James “Jeymz” Gloria for the 17-year-old Mobile Legends superstar.

According to the screencap, Bren turned down the offer but was willing to let go of KarlTzy in exchange for Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera.

“No truth in this,” said Duckeyyy, who had a hearty laugh before denying the rumor.

Bren Esports, the winner of the league’s sixth edition, dropped three straight games to open the season before making a final attempt to snatch the last upper bracket slot in Group A through an 8-5 standing.

Bren Esports, who had a shaky regular season campaign, suffered a huge upset at the hands of their good friends in Execration via a 3-2 reverse sweep in the lower bracket.

The world champions came from the upper bracket but loss to eventual champions Blacklist International through a 3-2 result.

Nexplay Esports, on the other hand, suffered another first round exit at the hands of Work Auster Force, 3-1.
