Comeback Legends: Execration gets back at Blacklist, rules MSC


Execration finally got its sweet revenge over Blacklist International, taking a 4-1 victory to win the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup, Sunday night. 

Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ Chang’e posted monster numbers of 15 kills and five assists against just two deaths in the 29-13 Game Five.

This is Blacklist International’s first loss in the tournament.

Needing just one game to seal the win, Execration went right for the jungler come Game Five with Kelra’s Chang’e and Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez unleashing a ton of damage. The two also played key roles in the siege which resulted in a four-man wipe – allowing Execration to finally end the match despite Mark “ESON” Gerardo’s Franco still at full health.

Kielvj finished with eight kills and 15 assists against just two deaths. Renz “Renzio” Cadua’s Gloo, who played a pivotal role in the snowball, ended with two kills, three deaths, and 14 assists.

Meanwhile, Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario’s Granger was held to just three kills, five deaths, and five assists while MPL Philippines MVP Edward “Edward” Dapadap had three kills, five deaths, and seven assists.

Execration took home a total of $70,000 for the victory.

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Lunox starred in the victory, leading a crucial clash outside the Lord pit which capped off the win. He finished with three kills, a death, and an assist in the 9-4, 11:50-minute victory.

Execration quickly returned the favor, unleashing a 16-3 barrage in Game Two on the back of Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s Mathilda.
