Salic “Hadjizy” Imam’s performance in the past year for Omega Esports definitely put several MPL teams on notice.
That’s why when the 18-year-old finally hit the free angency market, teams did not waste any time reaching out.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Tiebreaker Times that Hadjizy, who was officially released by Omega Esports a few hours ago, is reportedly being courted by three MPL champion squads namely Aura PH, Bren Esports, and Blacklist International.
According to another source, this has been going since Hadjizy was informed that he will not be returning to Omega Esports for the next season.
The star jungler, though, remains undecided on where to continue his journey next, said the source.
Hadjizy started his MPL career with SxC Imbalance, teaming up with both Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza and Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba who are now both with Blacklist International.
He then had the chance to play alongside Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno — who is now the star of Bren Esports — back in The Nationals Season One with PLDT-Smart Omega.
The pride of Paso de Blas, Valenzuela turned heads when he led Omega Esports to the grand finals of MPL Season Six and The Nationals Season Two wherein they finished second to Bren Esports both times.
Hadjizy also made turned heads in the international stage, spearheading Omega Esports’ sensational run in the M2 World Championships before the team settled for a a fifth-sixth place finish after its lower bracket loss to Indonesian powerhouse Alter Ego.
