Wrecker turns pro, joins RSG PH ML team


Popular streamer and influencer Elyson “Wrecker” Caranza will be going pro after signing with RSG Philippines for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight, the organization announced on Wednesday night.

Wrecker is the second streamer to go professional after Bren Esports picked up Raven “L3bron” Alonzo to its 10-man roster.

Joining Wrecker in the lineup are former Omega Esports veterans Kenneth “Kenji” Villa and EJ “Heath” Esperanza.

Also part of the squad are former Nexplay Esports support Dexter “Exort” Martinez, former ONIC PH gold laner Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, and former Cignal gold laner Arvie “Aqua” Calderon.

Completing the squad are rookies Eman ‘EMANN’ Sangco from Amihan Esports, John Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto of JNA Esports, and Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo of Work Aerial PH.

RSG’s rumored expansion to the Philippines has already been going on since June last month and was first reported by Tiebreaker Times.

The Singapore-based squad has two other MPL teams in Singapore and Malaysia.

RSG Malaysia was recently crowned as the MPL Malaysia Season Seven champion while RSG Singapore finished second in the inaugural MPL Singapore season.

RSG will join Blacklist International, Bren Esports, Smart Omega, ONIC PH, Nexplay EVOS, TNC, and ECHO in the eight-team MPL Season Eight which is set to open on August 13.
