Marites Fajardo, June Mar’s mother, passes away

Marites Fajardo (December 2, 1968 – August 12, 2021), the mother of San Miguel Beer’s June Mar, has passed away early Wednesday morning.

She was 52.

Sources have confirmed to Tiebreaker Times the unfortunate development, which was first reported by various media outlets from Cebu.

Fajardo has yet to issue a statement regarding his dear mother, who, according to reports, passed away in a local hospital.

The San Miguel star isn’t shy to admit that he’s a ‘Mama’s Boy,’ and has expressed many times how much he values his parents in previous interviews.

In fact, he makes it a point that they are both present in games and in historic moments when possible, including the 43rd Leo Awards back in March last year.

There, he received his record sixth MVP award.
