FEU’s Jocelyn De Leon, 61, passes away

Former Far Eastern University’s Athletics Manager Jocelyn De Leon (September 18, 1959-August 15, 2021) has passed away peacefully early Sunday.

She was 61 years old.

De Leon had been with FEU since 1991, serving as the “mother” of all of the school’s varsity players.

Back in 2019, the University Athletic Association of the Philippines honored her on September 18 for her 28 years of service to the school.

“I was just enjoying my job since 1991, kahit noon na hindi pa gaano sa television ang UAAP. Yung experience, dealing with different board members of the other schools… Na-enjoy ko yung trabaho,” she said during the ceremony.

After retiring from the school’s athletic department, she would continue her work in FEU as the school’s Administrative and Services Manager.

She was cremated on the same day.
