BON CHAN apologizes for OHEB’s actions as Moonton to look at incident

Blacklist International coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza apologized for the actions of Kiel “OHEB” Soriano during the post-match interview of their clash against Omega Esports, Saturday night.

The 17-year-old OHEB, who was making a funny gesture moments after sweeping their rival, flashed his middle finger in front of the camera during the live broadcast.

BON CHAN then addressed the situation during the post-match interview and bared that the team will accept whatever punishment the league or the Games and Amusement Board will hand the gold laner.

“Uunahan ko na yung mga fans, paumanhin sa nagawa ng bunsong anak ni V33.

“Uunahan na namin, paumanhin tanggap na namin kung ano mang sanction yung ibibigay,” said BON CHAN during the interview.

Moonton Esports Operation Executive Joy Calulo, popularly known as Ginoong Valdez, already assured the community that the league will immediately take action regarding the incident.

“We saw what happened after the match. Needless to say, we will deal with it,” Calulo posted on his Facebook page.

Tensions were high heading to the match since this will be the first time that the Tier One-backed squad will face Omega Esports’ Kelra since his suspension.

Kelra was handed a two-week ban and a month worth of salary by the league and his mother club, respectively, after his homophobic remarks toward Blacklist International’s Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

Blacklist International, despite a tight Game One affair, went on to sweep the series to strengthen its hold of the top spot with 31 points off a 12-1 standing.
