MPL PH: Hadji accepts jungler role as Blacklist romps Bren reserves

Salic “Hadji” Imam took on the jungler role as Blacklist International stomped on Bren Esports’ reserves via a quick 2-0 sweep in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight, Sunday night.

With Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s suspension, the Tier One-backed squad had to shuffle its roster – giving Hadji the jungler role while Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario slid to the gold lane. Filling in the roaming role is veteran Mark “ESON” Gerard.

Going up against Bren Esports’ reserves, Blacklist International did not let up and put on a dominant show for the 19-4 Game One victory in just 12 minutes and 32 seconds.MPL-PH-8-Blacklist-def-Bren-Game-1 MPL PH: Hadji accepts jungler role as Blacklist romps Bren reserves ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Hadji’s Ling had a field day in the opener, putting up eight kills and eight assists against just one death.

Come Game Two, Bren Esports’ unusual selections gave Blacklist International a harder time than Game One. But still, it was not enough as Hadji’s monster Lancelot performance led the 26-13 win.

“Na-shock pero tingin ko strat nila yun para maraming ma-open ng heroes,” said ESON on Bren Esports not banning a hero in Game Two.

Hadji ended up with 11 kills and 10 assists without a single death as Blacklist International closed the game in 16 minutes and 44 seconds.MPL-PH-8-Blacklist-def-Bren-Game-2 MPL PH: Hadji accepts jungler role as Blacklist romps Bren reserves ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Blacklist International ended the regular season with 34 points through a league-best 13-1 standing while Bren Esports capped off its first season out of the playoffs with 14 points and a 5-9 record.

Making their debut for Bren Esports are Raven “L3bron” Alonzo, Mico “Coco” Sampang, Dwine “Rimuru” Enriquez, and Ejhay “Ejhay” Sambrano.

This is the first time that Bren Esports will miss the playoffs since entering the league in Season Two.
