Marck Espejo named to V.League All-Stars


In his return to the V.League, Marck Espejo became one of the league’s all-stars.

The five-time Spikers’ Turf Most Valuable Player has been named as one of the 28 players that will play in the 2021 V.League All-Star Game.

The men’s all-star game takes place on December 25 at the Tokorozawa Municipal Gymnasium in Saitama.

Espejo, who plays for FC Tokyo, was selected as a V.League recommendation.

Espejo’s middle blocker in Tokyo Hideyuki Kuriyama was also named to the team.

Also named all-stars are Masahiro Yanagida (Suntory), Kento Miyaura (JTEKT), Kota Yamada (Oita Miyoshi), Takahiro Tozaki (Nagano), Kenta Takanashi (Nagoya), Kunihiro Shimizu (Panasonic), Kenya Fujinaka (Suntory), Kenyu Nakamoto (Panasonic), Takahiko Imamura (Panasonic), Chen Jiansoo (JT Hiroshima), Vernon Sharon (Sakai), and Haruki Ono (Suntory).

Completing the teams are Taishi Onodera (JT HIroshima), Fukuyama Shinichi (JTEKT), Ryota Denda (Nagoya), Akihiro Yamauchi (Panasonic), Haku Ri (Toray), Ryusuke Nakamura (Nagano), Masaki Oya (Suntory), Eiryu Motoki (Nagoya), Naonobu Fujii (Toray), Yudai Kato (Nagano), Tomohiro Ogawa (Nagoya), Tomohiro Yamamoto (Sakai), Masato Kubota (Oita Miyoshi), and Ryuta Homma (JTEKT).
