Omega coughs early lead vs IDNS to open ONE: MWI campaign

The Ramella-led IDNS turned back Omega Esports for a huge come-from-behind win in the best-of-one group stage of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational on Thursday.

After a long tug of war, Ramella (Lancelot) – who played for IDNS in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup – was able to steal the Luminous Lord from the Empresses at the 36:21 mark of the game to flip the game around.

Omega Esports could not defend in time as IDNS ran away with the 20-11 win in 38 minutes and 15 seconds.

Silver’s Cecillion led the way for the Princesses with three kills and five assists against just one death while Ramella had three kills, two deaths, and three assists.

With the win, IDNS took the early lead in Group A with a 1-0 standing, while Omega dropped to a 0-1 slate.

For the Filipinas, FIBII (Gloo), who was instrumental in the early game domination, finished with seven kills and 10 assists against just two deaths.

Shino (Popol and Kupa) added six kills, two deaths, and 10 assists in the loss. Meanwhile, Meraaay (Estes) recorded a game-high 17 assists along with two kills and two deaths.

Omega Esports looks to bounce back against Impunity Scarlet at 5:00 PM.
