Nexplay Evos sinks El Ganador in Sibol ML tryouts

Nexplay EVOS made quick work of El Ganador Esports, 2-0, to advance to the upper bracket of the Sibol Mobile Legends: Bang Bang national team selection on Thursday evening.

The new-look Nexplay EVOS put the clamps early on El Ganador Esports, scoring a lopsided 14-3 Game One win in 16 minutes and 34 seconds of game time.

Despite the new faces around him, John Paul ā€œH2woā€ Salonga had no troubles adjusting. He finished with six kills and four assists against three deaths on Paquito to lead NXP to an early 1-0 series advantage over the amateur squad.

Meanwhile, Minguin (Kagura) was the lone bright spot for El Ganador after scoring all three of the teamā€™s kills in the match. He also had two deaths in the contest.

El Ganador was able to keep Game Two close against the MPL squad, but a four-man wipe near the Lord pit in the 16:22-mark gave the upper hand to Nexplay EVOS.

The John ā€œZico_ā€ Dizon-coached squad took a 14-6 win in 16 minutes and 37 seconds to seal the series.

Mariusz “Donut” Tan (Brody) paced NXP with five kills, a death, and five assists.

RSG PH and ONIC PH already advanced to the upper bracket earlier in the day. Meanwhile, Omega Esports and Origen Esports were sent down the losersā€™ bracket.
