MPL PH: Benthings shines as TNC deals RSG first loss

Ben “Benthings” Maglaque starred as TNC handed RSG PH its first loss, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season Nine on Friday night.

The team claimed the second spot with 10 points through a 3-1 win-loss slate.

With his team down, Ben “Benthings” Maglaque (Chou) caught out Eman “EMANN” Sangco’s Beatrix past the 15-minute mark to get things going for TNC.

The crucial kill on EMANN led to a Luminous Lord take from TNC. This gave TNC the chance to take down both RSG PH’s top and middle lane inner turrets.

After defending their base, the RSG PH went for a Conceal play in the middle lane but failed to catch a player from TNC’s side. With this, TNC went for the counter engagement, instigating a clash that saw the team take out Dylan “Light” Catipon’s Edith.

Daniel “SDzyz” Chu (Ling) went on to finish the tight 9-10 Game One win in 19 minutes and 21 seconds.’
