PVL welcomes back fans for quarterfinals

The Premier Volleyball League is coming back home just in time for its quarterfinals.

The league and television partner Cignal have announced that starting on Monday, March 28, the PVL will return to the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Moreover, fans will be allowed back to the games for as long as they present their vaccination card.

“First of all, you have to show your vax card,” said Palou. “So far ‘yun lang naman. We’re still discussing with GAB. Kami, and I guess also you will still have to undergo the swab test kasi you’ll be in contact with the athletes.

“Pero ‘yung fans hindi na, basta they have the vaccination card, okay na ‘yun.”

The quarterfinals was supposed to take place on Sunday at Paco Arena Events and Sports Center but Cignal requested it to be moved on Monday as it will be the first day the Arena will be available.

Games on Monday will be Cignal versus BaliPure at 3PM followed by Creamline versus Chery Tiggo at 6PM.

Tickets will be priced at P500 for ringside, P300 for lower box, and P100 for general admission.

Ticket selling will be announced soon.

The last time the league played at the Filoil Flying V Arena was on November 9, 2019 back in the Game Three of the Reinforced Conference finals. Creamline swept Petro Gazz, 2-0, to claim the title.

In its return to action last July, the league set up a bubble in Laoag, Ilocos Norte for the 2021 Open Conference. Then, the PVL made its return to the Metro for the 2022 Open Conference at Paco Arena.
