Kyle Negrito replaces Deanna Wong in PWNVT’s SEAG team

Creamline’s backup setter Kyle Negrito will replace Deanna Wong in the Philippine Women’s National Volleyball Team that will compete in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Negrito attended the team’s meeting ahead of its three-week training camp in Barueri, Brazil on Monday.

PNVF National Team commission head Tony Boy Liao confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

Wong reportedly suffered an injury in Choco Mucho’s Game One victory against Cignal in the semifinals. The 23-year-old playmaker still played in Game Two which Choco Mucho lost in four sets.
