Zico sees a lot of potential in Burn X Flash

Newly named Burn X Flash head coach John “Zico” Dizon is already seeing a lot of potential in his new team almost 10 days after starting their preparations for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Cambodia Autumn 2022.

Even though most of his players are still studying, the former Nexplay EVOS head coach said that the team already assured him of their 100-percent commitment moving forward.

“Proper mindset and konting batak pa yung kailangan naming i-work out. Malalakas talaga sila even though most of them are still studying. Yun yung pinagkaiba sa Pilipinas dahil lahat ng pro players sa Pinas talagang nakatutok sa ML,” said Zico.

Still, Zico admitted that the team still has a ton of work to do in order to improve their fourth-place finish in the MPL Cambodia Spring 2022. Good thing for him, though, is that the team composed of D7, C Cat, Fury, Xeon, and ATM has already expressed their willingness to learn and improve.

“Nakakatuwa kasi lahat sila nakikinig and willing matuto,” said the former ONIC PH roamer, who also said that the META in the Philippines and Cambodia are pretty much the same with the former just slightly ahead in some aspects.

According to Zico, he has been handing out instructions to his new squad prior to his arrival in Cambodia. This, for him, helped boost the team’s progress ahead of his arrival.

“Nung nasa Pinas pa lang cino-coach ko na sila online so medyo may na-establish and progress na. Pagdating ko dito, kinabukasan nag-start na din agad ng scrim.
