Almadro can’t wait to have Tolentino, Cheng, Nunag, Ponce back

Choco Mucho head coach Oliver Almadro revealed that the Flying Titans’ key players are ‘most likely’ to suit up in the team’s do-or-die match against PLDT, Saturday night.

During the Flying Titans’ last two games, Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, Cherry Nunag, and Thang Ponce have been out as they were “under the weather.”

“Most likely. Naiinip na rin akong mag-laro sila,” said Almadro when asked about

The quartet missed the team’s four-set loss to Army-Black Mamba last Tuesday. They then missed their second consecutive match against Creamline, which the Flying Titans lost in three sets.

Adding salt to the wound was the ACL tear suffered by middle blocker Aduke Ogunsanya. According to Almadro, all four players were already cleared to play against the Cool Smashers but the team’s management ultimately decided to take extra precautions and keep them sidelined for this match.

“They are cleared already kaya lang Rebisco is sobrang organized sa mga ganitong circumstances and we are responsible enough naman syempre, ayaw naman naming maka-apekto ng ibang teams but kung ano ‘man yung mangyari sa team namin,” said Almadro.

“I guess soon they will be ready. They will be ready soon,” he added.

Without a doubt, it is definitely a huge boost for the side of the Flying Titans who are now on the brink of elimination with a 1-3 standing.
