“Sulit na sulit. Always gonna be grateful for all the fans who travel from all over the country just to watch this game. Talagang nagkakaubusan ng tickets,” said Valdez right after the victory.

“Kaya pala wala akong marinig. Okay naman. Di, siyempre we’re happy especially for Rebisco na may ganitong pagtitipon ng mga tao. For sure, sir Jo [Ng] is very happy na maraming sumusuporta sa Rebisco teams,” added Carlos.

Carlos made sure to put on a show in front of the massive crowd, delivering her best game this tournament with 25 points on 18 attacks, six blocks, and one ace to go along with 18 excellent receptions and 16 excellent digs while Valdez recorded 14 points and 15 excellent digs.

Despite the game being a four-set affair, the Flying Titans showed heart of steel, especially in the fourth set where they saved a total of four points to send the game to a deuce which definitely put fans on their feet.PVL-Reinforced-Creamline-vs.-Choco-Mucho-1459 Creamline grateful to 19,000 fans that trooped to MOA Arena News PVL Volleyball - philippine sports news

Valdez said that seeing fans embrace the sport and its players was a heart-warming sight. She also hopes that more and more fans continue to support Philippine volleyball moving forward.

“Maraming maraming salamat. We really want to say thank you to all of you and we really appreciate you all. We hope you – as much as we love the sport – sana mas mahalin nila at mas ma-appreciate nila yung sport at players, may it be from other teams.”
