IESF: Blacklist-powered Sibol downs Todak-Malaysia in lower bracket semis

SIBOL ML:BB is now a win away from securing a spot in the grand finals after turning back the Todak-backed Malaysia, 2-0, in the 14th IESF World Championships lower bracket semifinals, last Tuesday in Bali, Indonesia.

The Filipinos are now assured of a bronze finish and will take on another Southeast Asian squad in Cambodia on Saturday, 3:00 PM for the last ticket in the finale.

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano was the man of the hour for SIBOL in Game One, flaunting a flawless 9-0-5 KDA line before Salic “Hadji” Imam’s Kagura took the spotlight in Game Two with 10 kills and 16 assists against three deaths.

Meanwhile, SIBOL Dota 2 arranged an upper bracket semifinals match against Indonesia on December 7 after sweeping Kazakhstan, 2-0, in their final play-ins series.
