Yawi sits out ECHO’s opening match in M4


Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera sat out ECHO’s opening game against RRQ Hoshi in the M4 World Championship, Monday night.

Yawi is currently involved in an alleged cheating scandal that has caused outrage kn social media.

Yawi was previously linked with National University libero Jen Nierva.

Filling in for Yawi is veteran roamer Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz. The former MPL PH MVP joins the core of Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Alaton “Sanji” Pabico, and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya in the starting five.

ECHO placed second in the MPL Philippines Season 10.
