BON CHAN, ESON sit out MPL PH 11

Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza will not be calling the shots for the Blacklist International this coming MPL Philippines Season 11.

The organization announced on Monday afternoon that the veteran tactician will take a break in the upcoming season.

“Kristoffer Ed ‘BON CHAN’ Ricaplaza is taking a break this MPL Season 11,” said Blacklist International.

“Coach BON CHAN is the mastermind who led the creation of our world champion UBE strat. The man who steered us to three MPL PH championships and to back-to-back appearances at the M-series World Championship.”

Blacklist International is coming off a heartbreaking loss in the M4 World Championship at the hands of ECHO. The M3 World Champion had the chance to secure a historic back-to-back in the series but failed to overcome their local rivals.

With Bon Chan out, the head coaching reins will most likely fall to either Aniel “Master the Basics” Jiandani or Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba.

Veteran roamer Mark “ESON” Gerardo will also sit out the upcoming season.

“While we will miss his leadership in the bootcamp and in our huddle rooms, we will always remember him as a mentor and a legend of PH MLBB.”
