MPBL renews ties with OKBet

The Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and leading gaming platform OKBet recently renewed their partnership to support aspiring players and revitalize the local competitive scene.

During the OKBet Grand Launch themed “Together, We Rise” at the Hilton Manila Hotel, MPBL founder and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao expressed his delight at the continued support of OKBet for their upcoming fifth regular season.

“I am looking forward to continuing working with OKBet, which is one of our trusted partners in championing sports development and the welfare of our Filipino athletes,” said the former senator.

Pacquiao praised OKBet for sharing MPBL’s goals of providing more opportunities to aspiring talents and helping the local sports scene recover from the pandemic.

Last year, OKBet sealed a historic deal with MPBL and launched the “Play It Forward” sports development program, enlisting some of the league’s most talented players and coaches to host free basketball clinics for Filipino youth.

As a reliable ally of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, OKBet is committed to upholding the integrity of the gaming industry while generating substantial revenue for the government’s initiatives that benefit millions of Filipinos.

“We remain committed to protecting the integrity of the gaming industry as partner advocates for responsible gaming,” added Pacquiao.

The company showcased its latest innovations during the launch, which included a new collection of electronic games called OKGames, as well as separate platforms for electronic bingo, esports betting, and live casino games.

Furthermore, OKBet inaugurated its flagship branch for OKBet Betting Stations, designed for in-house gaming, and has plans to establish outlets in all major cities across different regions of the country before setting its sights on global expansion.
