Emman Galman excited for new journey with CSB

Emman Galman is looking for a fresh start.

The 6-foot-1 Perpetual Help product has moved out of De La Salle University and is set to enroll at College of Saint Benilde.

The development was first reported by Rappler. He will start training with the Blazers on Wednesday.

For Galman, he is just grateful for this new opportunity given to him by Saint Benilde.

“First of all, I want to thank God dahil po binigyan niya ako ng panibagong opportunity na makapag-aral at makapaglaro,” expressed Galman, a native of Paombong, Bulacan.

Galman played for De La Salle University during UAAP Season 84.

During the 5-on-5 season, Galman played six games, averaging 4.33 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.UAAP-84-Mens-Basketball-DLSU-vs-ADU-Emmanuel-Galman-scaled Emman Galman excited for new journey with CSB Basketball CSB DLSU NCAA News UAAP - philippine sports news

He was also part of the La Salle team that won silver in the 3×3 tournament.

However, Galman was only a reserve during Season 85.

“Isa po yan sa motivation ko para mas galingan at mas pagbutihin ko sa CSB,” he shared.

The 6-foot-1 winger will have to sit out one year before being eligible for NCAA Season 100.

During that time, the 20-year-old, who still has four years of eligibility left, will look to improve in every facet of the game.

And it’s because he is excited about what lies ahead in CSB.

“Sobrang excited ko po dahil alam ko po at naniniwala po ako na marami akong matutunan kay Coach Charles [Tiu] at mas mae-enhance po yung skills ko when it comes to basketball and at the same time I can still continue to play for the Green and White.”
