UAAP 85 WVB: Jurado delivers anew as UST sweeps Ateneo for second straight win


University of Santo Tomas picked up its second win in a row while sending Ateneo de Manila University to its fourth-straight loss, 25-19, 25-23, 25-14, in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan, Wednesday.

The Golden Tigresses solidified their place at the fourth spot at 4-2 while the Blue Eagles slipped to 1-5, their worst start in the Final Four era. They opened Season 73 at 1-4.

Up next for UST will be the luckless University of the East on Saturday while Ateneo will collide with University of the Philippines on Sunday.
