OhMyV33nus believes TNC’s record doesn’t reflect their true strength

TNC Pro Team has now lost eight of their nine games this season, the latest being a 2-0 sweep against Blacklist International in Week 5.

But Blacklist skipper Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna believes that their current record doesn’t really speak of how strong the team is, especially after the M3 world champions needed to mount back-to-back comebacks to secure the win.

“Madami kasing nagmamaliit sa kanila kasi di ba sila yung ano ngayon…pang 8th place. Pero every match nila nakikita ko talaga na nag-iimprove sila and nakikita nila yung tamang timpla na hinahanap nila,” shared the Blacklist star.

“I think marami pa silang pwedeng matalo sa mga susunod na matches nila.”

TNC has shown signs of life over the past two weeks since they scored their maiden win last March 4, a 2-0 sweep of Onic Philippines.

Despite losing 2-0 to Echo, they also put up a strong fight in Game 1 of the series before faltering deep in the late game.

They had a similar performance against Smart Omega where MLBB Southeast Asian Cup 2021 MVP Duane “Kelra” Pillas had to dig deep in his bag of tricks to unleash a clutch base turret defense with a Maniac to conquer TNC.

They also went the distance against NXPE before succumbing to a 23rd-minute loss.

“Tingin ko kulang sila sa experience pa. Kasi pag marami kang experience, mas better yung mga decision-making na magagawa mo. I think doon sila nagkukulang,” OhMyV33nus added.

Even Blacklist goldlaner Jon Redick “Super Red” Bordeos was impressed with TNC’s performance against his team.

“Malakas. Dikit lang yung laban eh,” he said.

Moral victories though won’t be enough for TNC as they only have five more games left to turn their season around.

They once again try to take the elusive win against RSG Slate Philippines on Saturday, March 25.
