MPL PH: Echo survives tight three-game thriller vs RSG

Echo closed out their regular season campaign with momentum after posting a 2-1 conquest of RSG Slate Philippines in the final week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 at the Shooting Gallery Studios on Sunday.

They finished in the second spot with 29pts, just two points shy behind top seed Bren Esports who accumulated 31pts. Both teams finished with identical 11-3 win-loss cards.

Despite Echo establishing a significant lead on the net worth in Game 1, everything went down the wire with Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno (Lancelot) clutching the 21st-minute lord and Alston “Sanji” Pabico (Valentina) scoring a double kill in the ensuing sequence to forced a game-winning 4-2 exchange.

Sanji went on to win the Game 1 MVP after finishing with a stellar 8-1-4 KDA.

But Eman “EMANN” Sangco was not to be outdone as he took two kills with the Karrie pick during an 11th-minute retaliation for a 5-2 wipeout that gave RSG a decisive networth lead and control of the map.

With the enhanced lord on their side, RSG scored the equalizer by the 16th minute with EMANN nabbing the match MVP courtesy of an 8-2-4 KDA.

Echo denied a comeback with a vintage performance by KarlTzy (Martis) in Game 3 as he rampaged to a monster 11-2-5 KDA during the 15-minute victory.
