Echo, Blacklist stars figure in drama ahead of MSC

Philippine representatives Blacklist International and ECHO were embroiled in different controversies ahead of their much-awaited campaign in the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.

Just days before the prestigious tilt, Blacklist International jungler Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario figured in a social media exchange with his ex-partner Carlie Valderrama over an alleged cheating issue.

In a response to Valderrama’s Facebook post, Wise bared that her former partner had an affair with a Wild Rift player. It was then that the 22-year-old Blacklist star decided to cut things off with Valderrama.

“Akala ko talaga matatapos na to nung nag post ako nung 2021, pero kailangan ko pa pala sabihin yung mga nangyari. Hiniwalayan na kita. Walang agawan na nangyari. Single ako noon,” said Wise, squashing rumors that Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna was the reason why they broke up.

“Para linawin lang yung nangyari nung panahon na yun inamin niya sakin na may nangyari sa kanila nung teammate niya na pro player ngayon ng WR [Wild Rift]. Tapos after nun cinutoff ko na yung communication at hiniwalayan ko na siya,” he added.

Wise ended his post by saying that he is already with what he has right now with OhMyV33NUS.

On the other hand, ECHO stars Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya got into a heated exchange during the former’s live stream. The 16-year-old EXP laner eventually challenged the 18-year-old jungler to a fistfight.

“Umayos ka nga. Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan sa’yo ah. Hindi lahat ng oras joke time tayo ah. Maging seryoso ka sa buhay mo… paano mo ko madudurog e uhugin ka pa,” said KarlTzy after Sanford called him an idiot due to his KDA.

“Suntukan tayo?” Sanford replied.

This is not the first time that Sanford figured in a similar incident with his teammate. The former NXPE EXP laner also got into it with Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera in the past which, incidentally, was also caught in KarlTzy’s live stream.

Blacklist International will open its MSC campaign on June 12 against Team Occupy while ECHO will get its first taste of action on June 10 against EVO Esports.
