Joan Narit joins Pia Ildefonso in Farm Fresh

Ateneo middle blocker Joan Narit has signed with Farm Fresh, the newly-formed team announced on Monday.

Narit will join fellow Blue Eagle Pia Ildefonso in turning pro with the Foxies.

“Done being a college student, ready to live the life as a full-time athlete. Farm Fresh and Joan Narit team up for our Premier Volleyball League debut in the Invitational Conference this June 27,” Farm Fresh said.

The 6-foot-1 middle blocker played for Ateneo in the past three UAAP seasons. Her debut in Season 82 was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Farm Fresh is one of the three new teams in the PVL along with Foton and Gerlflor.

The Foxies are part of Group B, joining Petro Gazz, F2 Logistics, Choco Mucho, Cignal, and Foton.

Coaching the squad is Lady Blazers head coach Jerry Yee.

NCAA MVP Mycah Go and the core of College of St. Benilde will compose the rest of the team.
