PBA Draft: Blackwater finds BGR replacement, gets Christian David at 2

Exactly a year after trading away Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser to NLEX, Blackwater has found his replacement.

The towering 6-foot-6 big man, Christian David, was selected as the second overall pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft by the Bossing on Sunday at Market! Market! in Taguig City.

David, who spent five years at Butler University, averaged career numbers of 1.70 points and 1.41 rebounds in 96 games played with the Bulldogs.

The Fil-Canadian was signed by Seoul Samsung last year but did not play a single game with the team during the KBL season.

The 25-year-old versatile forward disclosed that he has already recovered from his past injuries and is ready for the PBA grind.
