MPL PH: Onic stretches streak to five in comeback win over RSG

Onic Philippines sustained their winning ways with a 2-1 reverse sweep of RSG Philippines in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios, Makati City on Friday.

The Sonics have now won five straight matches, solidifying their grip on the second spot in the standings as they improved to 5-3 with 15 points.

In Game 1, John “Irrad” Abarquez (Fredrinn) spearheaded a one-sided affair where RSG controlled the match from the early game, securing all the turtle buffs and lord objectives to take the opener. Irrad finished with a perfect 3-0-7 KDA, while Arvie “Aqua” Calderon (Novaria) also delivered a flawless performance with a similar 3-0-7 KDA.

However, Onic quickly bounced back in Game 2, taking control of the match from the beginning and capping it off with a double kill by Kennth “Nets” Barro (Bruno) during the 14th-minute base turret siege, equalizing the series at 1-1.

Nets (Bruno) once again came through in Game 3, exploding for a triple kill during a 17th-minute base turret siege to complete a series-clinching 5-1 wipeout.
