PVL: Cignal holds strong against Nxled’s late push, forces three-way tie for lead

Cignal survived Nxled’s late onslaught to close out the game in straight sets, 25-21, 25-17, 25-21, in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference, Thursday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

The HD Spikers, who moved to 3-0, tied Choco Mucho and Creamline at the top spot.

On the other hand, the Chameleons suffered a double whammy after absorbing their third consecutive loss and losing Ivy Lacsina, who collided with Dani Ravena during a receive attempt, early in the third set.

Cignal will go up against Choco Mucho next Thursday, 6:00 PM at the same venue.

Meanwhile, Nxled will face off versus Galeries Tower on Tuesday, 6:00 PM also at Philsports.
