PBA: TBT’s Bacnis finds redemption as Team Yellow wins Shooting Stars

A year after suffering heartbreak courtesy of PBA courtside reporter Apple David, Tiebreaker Times reporter Justine Bacnis found redemption.

Bacnis and Team Yellow ruled the 2024 PBA All-Star Shooting Stars competition before the main event of the weekend on Sunday at the University of St. La Salle Coliseum in Bacolod.

Team Yellow, also composed of Bacolod City councilor Al Victor Espino, One News’ Denise Tan, and 13-year-old fan Christoffer Elaija Octario, clocked in at 51.7 seconds in the event that made its return back in 2019.

Last year in Passi City, Bacnis and his then-Team White were poised to win the competition but David nailed an underhand attempt from deep with 23 seconds to spare to win the competition.

This time around, David, Senator Bong Go, Jonas Terrado of Inquirer.net, and fan Vincent Astorga finished with 1 minute and 34 seconds.

Placing second was Team Red, which had Reuben Terrado of Spin.ph, councilor Taddy Sayson, courtside reporter Belle Gregorio, and 15-year-old fan Chauncey Caras, with a time of 55.2 seconds.2024-PBA-All-Star-Shooting-Stars-Team-Yellow PBA: TBT's Bacnis finds redemption as Team Yellow wins Shooting Stars Basketball News PBA - philippine sports news
