Rebisco Clasico to open PVL semis

The Finals of the 2023 PVL Second All-Filipino Conference will mark the opening of the second round of this year’s tournament.

The second seed, Choco Mucho, and defending champion, Creamline, will commence the round-robin semifinals on Tuesday at 4:00 PM at the Philsports Arena.

Meanwhile, top seed Petro Gazz will take on Chery Tiggo at 6:00 PM.

It’s worth recalling that the Cool Smashers swept the Flying Titans 25–17, 25–22, 25-19 in front of 17,000 fans at the SMART Araneta Coliseum during the elimination round.

However, with just 24 points in its name after the preliminary round, Creamline will enter the semis as the fourth seed.

This is its worst finish in the eliminations since the 2017 Reinforced Conference.

Nevertheless, all teams will revert to zero in this format introduced two years ago.
