Hooligan fans attack June Mar Fajardo, San Miguel bench

During a tight Game 5 contest, the San Miguel Beermen and the Magnolia Hotshots received a few unpleasant visitors inside the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Two fans invaded the court and San Miguel’s bench, causing a long stoppage in the contest.

The incident occurred with 3:08 left in the contest and Magnolia up 84-78.

A member of the audience wearing a Spider-Man costume was able to evade security and get inside the court. He was holding a paper while running to center court.

The fan accidentally hit June Mar Fajardo on his left shoulder before being apprehended by security.

While the fan was being escorted to the hallway of the Big Dome, another fan went to San Miguel’s bench. Kelly Nabong managed to stop them before anything could happen.

The fan wearing the Spider-Man costume said that he meant no harm.

“Ang message ko po ay pagmamahal,” said ‘Spiderman,’ whose identity is yet to be known as of publishing.

“Tapos mananakit ako? ‘Di ko po magagawa.”

The two have been sent to the nearby police station where they will face charges by the league.
